Using the timeless idea of a stained glass window, the new St. Margaret Mary logo represents the journey of our family of faith.  As a parish we are made up of many different people shown simply as male, female, elderly and young.  All are linked together traveling on the same road toward the cross which represents Christ on earth.
The white circle behind the cross is the Eucharist, the center of our Catholic life.  Radiating out from this is a sunburst representing the fire of the Holy Spirit.  The three thinner bands of red color flowing from the Eucharist symbolize the Trinity as well and represent the blood of Christ flowing out to the world.  The color purple symbolizes the royal priesthood of God’s people us.  Blue symbolizes the Father’s love.
Intentionally the right corner of the logo was left blank to represent our openness to others desiring to join us in our journey.  The cross itself was placed just off-center to symbolize that we as a parish are indeed “off-center,” just unique and honest enough to celebrate our imperfections as we continue the challenge of our shared journey.
